Celtic Drilling provide a wide range of specialised rotary and land drilling services, including mining investigations, water boreholes, piling, geothermal drilling, and water/gas monitoring holes. Their multi-use mini rigs are specifically designed for tight access areas and feature soundproofing for residential environments. The rigs were remanufactured in 2018 to allow for an evolution of the Holman design allowing for sideways tilt of the mast to achieve vertical drilling on sloping ground and fast feed for faster removal of the rod string on borehole completion.

The Result
When working with 2 very expressive words; “Celtic” and “Drilling”, generating a logo can be somewhat of a straightforwards process but the success of the identity comes down to the execution of the idea. By the us of traditional Celtic-inspired knot designs, Cape created a cross section of a drilling tool that formed the central marque for the new visual identity.
